Reverend Brandon M. Helton, affectionately known as “Pastor B,” is the 9th Senior Pastor of the Piney Grove Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, NC. He is a young and dynamic leader who thrives on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and the spiritual growth of others through evangelism, discipleship, and mentorship. Prior to joining PGBC, he faithfully served in ministry as a Youth Pastor for nine years. During that stint he was ordained in ministry and elevated to the office of “Elder” on December 12, 2021.
With great passion and enthusiasm, Pastor Helton believes that his life’s purpose is to work to bring impact through practical preaching, teaching, philanthropy, and civic engagement. As a community thought leader, he has presented at various churches and academic arenas from the district schools to the university level. He has served as an independent Equity & Diversity Consultant for Mount Airy City Schools and as a member of the Senior Services, Inc. Service Alliance in Winston-Salem, NC. He is currently a member of the Elon University Black Alumni Network.
Helton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Elon University, a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Christian Theology from Regent University. An accomplished professional in the private sector, Helton specializes in relationship management and consulting. He currently manages a complex portfolio of Fortune 500 to privately held institutional clients for one of the top companies in the retirement industry. He is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Pastor Helton is a native of Mount Airy, NC, and currently resides in Lewisville, NC. He is married to his best friend, Bridgett, and is the proud father of one daughter, Avianna.
First Lady Bridgett Helton, affectionately known as “Lady B,” serves faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Brandon M. Helton, at the Piney Grove Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, where they are dedicated to leading God’s people with love, grace, and a heart for service. As a woman of deep faith, compassion, and wisdom, Lady B is known for her warm spirit, encouraging words, love for people, and her unwavering commitment to seeing lives transformed through the power of God’s Word. With a passion for empowering women and young people, as well as worship through music, Lady B plays an integral role in the life of the church.
Beyond her work within the church walls, Lady B is an accomplished professional in the private sector with nearly 15 years of experience in employee benefits administration, specializing in Health and Welfare and Defined Benefits. Known for her strategic leadership, she excels at organizational change and process improvements, while effectively translating visions and strategies into actional goals. In addition to her professional experience, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.
Lady B is a native of Greensboro, NC and currently resides in Lewisville, NC. Beyond her work within the church walls and corporate America, Lady B is a devoted wife and is the proud mother of one daughter, Avianna.
At Piney Grove Baptist Church, we operate under a Board of Directors leadership structure, ensuring spiritual integrity, financial accountability, and effective governance in alignment with our mission. Our leadership is comprised of the Board of Deacons and the Board of Trustees, both of which play vital roles in serving the church and advancing God’s Kingdom.
As President and Chairman of the Board, our Pastor, Rev. Brandon M. Helton, provides visionary leadership and spiritual oversight, working alongside both boards to guide the church in fulfilling its mission. Together, these leadership bodies operate in prayer collaboration , ensuring that our church remains a beacon of faith, service, and Kingdom impact.
